Each truck body, trailer and repair job completed at Weirbuilt is completed in strict adherence to Australian standards for Australian Design Rules (ADR). Weirbuilt is a qualified Motor Body Vehicle Repairer registered with the NSW Office of Fair Trading. Licence No. 040920.

Weirbuilt is located in a modern purpose built 1000m2 enclosed workshop within a 3 acre yard space, located in Glen Innes, northern NSW. The premises employ a wide range of metal fabrication machinery which combines modern production techniques with old fashioned pride in workmanship. When manufacturing all our truck bodies, trailers and repairs we use TIG and MIG welding, plasma cutting, hand fabrication and our paintwork is of professional quality.
Weirbuilt has established a strong customer base including large companies such as TransPacific. We supply custom aluminium rescue bodies and repairs to the emergency services such as the State Emergency Service (SES) and Rural Fire Service (RFS). We supply truck bodies and trailers to Government departments including the RTA and Department of Environment Climate Change and Water. We also supply trailers, truck bodies and welding repairs to a wide variety of independent operators. As demonstration of the durability and quality standards of Weirbuilt truck bodies and trailers, they are extensively in use throughout Australia’s agricultural, earth moving, emergency services and utility industries.
Our business was the winner of the 2004 Glen Innes Examiner Best Self Employed Young Person in Business Award 2006 and winner of the Best New Business Award 2006. Jay ensures that his staff also prides themselves in their work. Testament to this is employee Ross Kamphorst being awarded the Glen Innes Examiner Quality of Workmanship Award 2008.
